West Africa Coastal Areas Management Program (WACA) Launch

Official Ministerial launch of the WACA Platform and the first WACA Resilience Investment Project. The three-day event also includes a knowledge day to share the latest innovations and experiences in promoting coastal resilience, a field visit to local communities in Dakar to see first-hand the impacts of coastal degradation and the solutions being implemented.  Participating in the event has given EO4SD-Marine a better understanding of WACA and how to tailor its services to meet the programme’s information requirements.
